Drank a cup o' reality at 10:43 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004

When I woke up this morning I was struck by how completely excited I am to go to California for Thanksgiving. I can hardly wait until the 23rd when I'll fly home. I don't remember the last time I was this eager to be there.

But, I also think that it is like Bevin says, "California is where you go to decompress." She's right and I really need to decompress!

I have a curious sinking feeling that once I get there I won't want to come back... hmmmm.
