Drank a cup o' reality at 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004
I have officially written the world's most boring Christmas/Holiday letter ever! There are no cute pictures to scan in. There are no funny stories to tell. There are no fun vacations to chronicle. There are no tremendous achievements or successes. And, really, how do you make job loss and reality funny?
I've sat down a few times to try and do something creative- a quiz, a poem, a story (I am a teacher after all...) but it was all lack luster. So, I'm stuck with the plain old letter... no picutres... no pizzaz- snowmen paper and an ironically brown Minnesota backyard.
2005 must be more exciting because I have intentions of writing a much much better letter!
