Drank a cup o' reality at 3:17 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004
My long absence can be explained rather briefly: Technical Difficulties. My home computer had some bugs in it this month and I just didn't feel right getting on the internet with it. I also didn't feel right using the school internet to update my diary. Thus the absence.
My computer is repaired and I am back. Hopefully you haven't lost interest in my life!
The rest of my life has been interesting on multiple fronts. Hopefully I can take the time to get updated over the next few days.
I really want to dump here about Mr. Math, but he needs his own entries. Things seem OK and mostly they seem to be progressing. Last night it dawned on me that I am feeling every bump in the road because we are going so slow. If we were moving faster, it wouldn't be so bumpy. Oh, and he is as PMSy as a girl!
But, really the main focus of things in my world has had a lot to do with money! Over the last year I wandered into a substantial amount of credit card debt. Over Christmas this was discovered by my Mom and Dad. In the end I am grateful to them... but it has all been really hard. I'll elaborate more later.
The High School English teacher also just quit at work. He gave 1 week's notice and will not be back on Monday. (the start of 2nd semester). If you know anyone in Minnesota who would like to teach grades 10-12 in a rural, small, Southern MN setting... I can get you the contact info. We are looking for someone who wants to stay.
It is Saturday and I am avoiding the shower and getting dressed instead I am opting for sweats, Cheez-its and excessive amounts of The Osbournes!
