Drank a cup o' reality at 7:27 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 03, 2004
I’ve seriously been avoiding anything that would remind me that I am moving on Monday. Therefore if you were to come and visit me, besides one box of personal stuff in the hallway, my house looks like it always does. I have not been packing. I guess that I just didn’t want to live a half-life in boxes until the big day.
This will all change tomorrow. I pick Mom up tomorrow afternoon. She will be with me until the 15th. (The jury is still out on whether this is too long a visit or not.) So, I’m pretty sure that with her arrival things will get pretty hectic around here.
Goodbye to my summer of sleep, TV, Internet, eating and reading. I’m gonna’ have to get up and get dressed and work every day!!! YUCK!!
So, I just wanted to mention that I might be mostly absent (unless something big happens) until Mom leaves. We’ll see… But I’ll be back before school starts to fill you in on my new job, school, home, and life… I’ll also report my findings on whether or not the world is flat!
