Two of you will catch the irony in the following, which hangs on orange paper on the bulletin board above my desk at work:
"Positive People: Always focus on finding the solution, turn obstacles into opportunities and adversity into lessons, trust in their ability to make a difference, believe that things can always get better, use their vision to change their reality."
The irony of the hell that was the summer inwhich I received those words does not fall flat upon me. I remember thinking that was hell... but clearly, as you get older, hell only gets worse!
Perhaps I should go back to camp?
