Tomorrow after work I am heading to California to spend 2 weeks with Mom, Dad, Brother and dogs. It will be exactly the R&R I need. Really, there is this inexplicable restoration that only happens at home. I will be sure to sneak off and update from there.
Things have been good here. Tiring but good.
*On Thursday of last week I had my hair dyed to its natural color. It has been at least since I was sophomore in high school since the carpet matched the drapes. This was nearly traumatic! I am enjoying being brunette, I think.
*Mr. Math and I spent the night together on Friday. It was great.
*We had a snow day on Tuesday. I called home to brag about how Snow Days are the best part of living here!
*On Tuesday afternoon Mr. Math called me and came over. We talked for 2 hours on my couch about the state of us and where we are going. It was the best conversation ever although it all came to no avail. We are both right: I think we are perfect together and he knows that he needs more time. There is goodness in all of this. I know that because we are so completely honest with each other and ultimately we want the best for each other.
*Work has been hectic and I am looking forward to being regrouped so that I am a better teacher in January. I don't feel like I am teaching right now but more that I am managing.
Off to bed so I can be off to California!

My students, excessive amounts of coffee, Baja Fresh and a good hockey game.
I dislike:
Ignorance, mosquitoes, and people who write in IM and/or grammar so poor that it is clear that they are lazy. IM is LAZY, LAZY do you hear me???
