The Young and The Restless here comes Rachel!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, that's right, if audtioning for her "big break" was just a numbers game, it is a game that Rachel just won. Fans and Friends, Rachel (my best friend since we were like 12) has just signed a 3 year contract with Y&R. Of course more details will be forthcoming. I'll be sure to let you know which character is her so that you can do your part (Sooner I know that you are up for this!) by sending fan mail and convincing letters to CBS.
I have never watched Y&R, and I gave up daytime TV when I got a 'real' job... but I will watch this like a devoted housewife with an active imagination and too much time on her hands. The only difference is that I'll be taping it everyday so that I can watch it on the weekends.
I'm envisioning the Rachel on Soap*Opera Digest, at the D@ytime Emmy*s, and appearing on "Live with Regis @nd Kelly," or even "The V*iew."
Oh, and I stayed at Matthew's place last night... it was cuddly good times.
